Mastering engineer David Glasser explains why MP3s are inferior to good ol' CDs
David Glasser doesn't do iPods. He's got an iPhone, but there's no music stored on it. "That's not my world," Glasser said. Forgive the man. He's got the most refined of ears. The MP3 technology most downloadable music employs just doesn't cut it when you're a mastering engineer with a 30-year career that includes two Grammy Awards and time spent mastering 80 Grammy-nominated records.
