Court: Child porn search on base was constitutional
RICHMOND The search of a Virginia Army private’s MP3 player that revealed child pornography was constitutional because searches on military bases don’t require probable cause, a three-judge panel of the Fourth U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals ruled Thursday.
